1. Statutory Medical & Diagnostic Disclaimer

Essential advisory regarding clinical test report interpretation

Crucial Advisory for Patients & Treating Clinicians:

Diagnostic test results generated by PulseCare Diagnostics & Pathology Lab are strictly intended to assist registered medical practitioners in patient evaluation, monitoring, and therapeutic planning. They do not constitute a standalone medical diagnosis, definitive prescription, or direct clinical recommendation.

Laboratory values reflect the biochemical, hematological, or immunological parameters of the specimen at the precise timestamp of biological collection. Reference ranges published on reports represent statistical biological intervals determined through standard populations under NABL ISO 15189:2022 calibration.

Mandatory Clinical Considerations:

  • Pre-Analytical Variance: Fasting duration, diurnal hormonal fluctuations, acute physical exercise, alcohol intake, emotional stress, and ongoing drug therapies can significantly alter serum and plasma concentrations.
  • Physician Consultation: Patients must never initiate, alter, or discontinue prescription medications or therapeutic regimens based solely on automated laboratory printouts without consulting their treating registered physician.
  • Panic / Critical Notification: When automated analyzers flag life-critical thresholds (e.g. severe thrombocytopenia, extreme hypokalemia, acute troponin elevation), our senior pathologist attempts rapid direct telephonic contact with the patient and prescribing clinician.

3. Cancellation, Rescheduling & Transparent Billing

Zero-penalty flexibility and post-collection payment assurance

We believe healthcare should be convenient, humane, and frictionless. Our cancellation and rescheduling guidelines are designed to accommodate sudden clinical or personal changes without financial friction:

  • Zero Upfront Payment: No prepayment or credit card advance is required to schedule a home sample collection. Payment is made only after successful venipuncture via UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm), Card machine, or Cash.
  • Free Rescheduling: Patients may reschedule collection slots at any time without penalty by replying to the booking WhatsApp message or calling our lab desk at +91 86258 08700.
  • Zero Cancellation Fee: If fasting criteria are breached (e.g., inadvertent tea or meal intake), cancellations or postponements requested prior to specimen draw carry zero cancellation charges.
  • Sample Quality Reruns & Refunds: In the rare event of specimen lipemia, unavoidable hemolysis, or insufficient volume requiring a redraw, the replacement sample collection and analysis are performed completely free of charge. If a patient declines redraw, any digital payment collected is refunded in full within 24 to 48 banking hours.

4. NABL Quality Standards & Specimen Retention SLA

ISO 15189:2022 laboratory governance and biological archive protocols

In strict compliance with NABL guidelines and ISO 15189:2022 medical quality controls, our central laboratory maintains standardized specimen archive policies:

Biological Specimen Retention Timelines:

• Serum & Plasma Aliquots: Processed serum and plasma samples are safely archived in cryogenic storage at -20°C for a minimum of 48 to 72 hours post-reporting to facilitate test add-ons or verification reruns requested by the treating doctor.

• EDTA Whole Blood: Stored under monitored 2°C–8°C conditions for 24 hours for hematological verification before certified biomedical autoclaving and disposal.

• Digital Pathology Archive: Calibrated digital data, analyzer raw telemetry, QC logs, and MD-signed PDF reports are cryptographically archived on high-security LIS servers for 5 years.
